Missing Garo youth reunited with family

SHILLONG: The missing youth from Garo Hills, Kalingson A Sangma, was finally reunited with his family on Tuesday. Sangma, a resident of Norek Imdikim, Songsak PS, East Garo Hills, had gone missing on April 27 when he boarded a train to Chennai from Guwahati.
Narrating his ordeal to the police, Sangma said on his way to Chennai, he missed the train at Rajamundhry Station (AP) when he got down to fetch water.
The matter was reported to Songsak PS on May 4 and with the assistance of Srikakulam district police (AP) & Ganjam district Police (Odisha), he was rescued on May 12. Police suspect that Sangma is slightly disturbed as despite having a mobile phone he did not keep them informed about his whereabouts.
