Subroto Mukherjee Football tourney kicks off

SHILLONG: The two opening matches of the West Khasi Hills District Level Inter-School Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament were played at Nongpyndeng Playground, Nongstoin on Wednesday. A total of 65 players participated in the tournament with 35 U-17 (Boys), 10 U-17 (Girls) and 20 U-14 (Boys).  114 matches of all age groups will be played during this tournament, which will also determine, at the end of the competition, which school will represent this district in the State Level Competition. All finals will be played on May 30.
