SHILLONG: An RTI was filed to check the credibility of appointments of four members of a family to the post of LDA at Meghalaya Secretariat.
Banshai Marbaniang, who filed the RTI in this regard, has claimed that the PIO of Meghalaya Public Service Commission refused to provide details of the hiring process in this case including whether an interview was conducted for the posts.
“I was puzzled to find that four members of a family were appointed to the same post when there were many other applicants,” Marbaniang said adding that he will follow up on the matter.
