Woman sets herself on fire following domestic violence

JOWAI: A woman with 95 per cent burn injuries was admitted in a hospital here on Wednesday after she allegedly tried to commit suicide following domestic violence.
This incident took place at Amtapoh village under Amlarem Police Station, West Jaintia Hills.
The woman was brought to Dr. Norman Tunnel Hospital on Wednesday evening.
According to police the woman, Sobita Burman Sunar (22) allegedly poured kerosene and set herself on fire following a fight with her husband Birbol Burman.
