SHILLONG: A resident of Mendipathar, Sengnap Momin has alleged that the local PHC has been running with a lone doctor since many years making it difficult for the thousands residing in the area to avail medical facilities.
Momin added that though there was a plan to upgrade the PHC to a CHC and even a new structure was constructed for the same, nothing has materialised till date much to the dismay of the local residents.
According to Momin the Maniganj Sub-Centre is also facing the same problem as it is running with a single ANM since long.
