Balensha Dora Nongrum, resident of Tynring has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) by NEHU for her thesis, “A study of creativity and self concept in relation to mathematics achievement of Upper Primary school students in East Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya” under the supervision of Dr BB Kharbirymbai.
Amanda Shylla was awarded the K. Subbaiah Memorial Gold Medal at the 51st Convocation of UAS, Bengaluru held on April 24, for securing highest OGPA of 9.38 out of 10.00 in Doctor of Philosophy degree in Agricultural Microbiology during the year 2015-16.
