Driver injured as taxi falls into gorge

SHILLONG: One Maruti 800 local taxi fell into a 30 feet deep gorge in Mawdok Bridge on the way to Sohra. In this incident the driver, Narayan Thapaa (47) from Jhalupara, sustained injuries. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Sohra helped in shifting the victim to Shillong Civil Hospital.
