Two killed in elephant attack

Tezpur (Assam): Two persons were killed in separate incidents of elephant attack in Sonitpur district, officials said on Saturday.
50-year-old Lakhan Praja was trampled to death by an elephant who also destroyed his house in Rangapara, Assistant Forest Conservator of West Sonitpur Forest Division Jasim Ahmed said.
In another incident, Atowa Guri (65) was killed by an elephant near Nameri national park in Chariduar, officials said. (PTI)
