SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association (MUPSTA) has decided to strengthen its units in all districts. The association, during its state-level executive committee meeting last week, said all its district units, barring the East Khasi Hills, will hold general body meetings before July end. In East Khasi Hills, the meeting will be before June end. In a statement issued to the media, MUPSTA said it will celebrate its silver jubilee next year. Beseeching all teachers to join hands, MUPSTA organising cum publicity secretary E.G War said the association is one of the main units of JACATAM who fought for the hike in salary of ad hoc teachers
