SHILLONG: The case related to education scam will come up for hearing on June 1.
During the hearing of the case on Tuesday in the High Court of Meghalaya, an affidavit of the Director, School Education and Literacy, has been filed on behalf of the State Government in compliance with the orders of the court as passed on May 24 and 25.
Besides, the Government Advocate, K.P Bhattacharjee, placed before the court the case diary relating to the criminal aspect of the case filed at Laitumkhrah police station.
As per the relevant contents of the CBI and HLSC reports, certain recommendations for the candidates were made in the selection process and the court wanted to know the steps taken by the Government as per the recommendation of the HLSC.
