SHILLONG: The UDP Mylliem Circle has nominated Hamlet Dohling, as the party candidate for the 2018 Assembly elections.
The CEC of the circle, which met here on Monday, nominated Dohling’s name to the party headquarters saying the leader has worked hard in the circle since last 5-6 years and he has huge chances of winning the Assembly elections next year.
The UDP-HSPDP alliance so far has not taken a call on who should contest the election from Mylliem constituency since UDP is keen to field Hamlet Dohling while HSPDP intends to field Teilinia Thangkhiew from the constituency.
