RKM gets NE’s first reality lab

SHILLONG: The first reality laboratory in North East India was inaugurated at the Convocation Programme of Computer and Language Units of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre on Quinton Road by North Eastern Council secretary Ram Muivah on Friday.
Muivah said he was happy that Ramakrishna Mission is utilising the resources of the North Eastern Council for the skill development of youths.
Governor Banwarilal Purohit was also present. In his address, he said that learning Khasi is important and Hindi is something that unites the nation.
He also asked students to be aware of the changing technology and at the same time remember the values of Ramakrishna Mission.
The centre also distributed certificates to about 1,800 trainees.
