Beauty queen wants to develop elephant tourism

GUWAHATI: Miss World Japan 2016 Priyanka Yoshikawa will visit Assam in November to participate in the Eastern Himalayan Naturenomics Forum.
Over the years, Japan and India have been closely attached through cultural exchange and the common goal of Wildlife protection. A certified elephant trainer, Priyanka feels passionately about the well-being of the animals and got the Laos National Certification. She hopes to foster Eco -Elephant Tourism between India, Japan and in Asia through her support to the cause. Priyanka will tour Assam on November 2 nd 3. She will visit the tea plantations and wildlife sanctuaries in the state.
