SHILLONG: The stakeholders have set a 15-day deadline for the inauguration of Mawlai C & RD Block in a meeting held on Monday to discuss the delay in setting up of the block.
Sources who attended the meeting said that the stakeholders will send a letter to the Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Tuesday with a demand to set up the Block at Mawlai Mawtawar.
Traditional heads from Mawlai, different social organisations, people from different walks of life attended the meeting at community hall, Mawlai Phudmawri.
