SHILLONG: The State Cabinet on Monday approved the extension of service of Chief Technical Advisors of the Generation and Transmission and Distribution Wing of Power department for a period of one year.
The Cabinet also directed the Power department to further strengthen its technical wing.
Meanwhile, the State Cabinet also amended the treasury rules to facilitate online payment.
