The new higher secondary block of Laban Assamese Girls’ Higher Secondary School was inaugurated by Manas Chaudhuri, ex-MLA (L), on July 1.The building was funded by Prof. Mrinal Miri, former Rajya Sabha member under MP’s local area development scheme. The new block has been named after Padmashree Indira Miri, former headmistress and a renowned educationalist.
