U-18 SPL: Boys Sports Co beat Wahingdoh

SHILLONG: Boys Sports Company beat Wahingdoh FC 5-2 in U-18 Shillong Premier League match in Polo on Tuesday.
It was an exciting encounter that saw as many as three goals scored in the first half itself.
Boys Sports Co drew first blood with a goal from Rengayung Lungleng in the 15th minute. Wahingdoh responded within a minute when Adarsh Thapa found the back of the net for his side in the 16th minute. M Haokip struck in the 35th minute to take Boys Sports Co ahead again.
Four minutes into the second half Lungleng scored his brace (49th min) to make it 3-1 for Boys Sports Co. N Bony Singh took the lead to 4-1 by netting another goal in the 38th minute.
Even though Wahingdoh struck again in the 74th minute through B Kharpran, it was too late in the day to change the outcome of the tie.
An 81st minute goal by Ankit Rana dashed all hopes of Wahingdoh comeback as the match ended 5-2.
Langsning will play Shillong United at on Wednesday at 4 pm.
