Fundraising show to build toilets

SHILLONG: The Rotary Club Orchid, Shillong on Saturday organised a charity show in the city, where the differently able artists left everyone in aw with their breathtaking performance.
The charity show was organised to raise funds to build toilet blocks in schools and to inculcate habits of hygiene by constructing wash in schools (WINS) which is a project of Rotary international.
A renowned dance troupe from New Delhi led by Guru Pasha performed “miracle on wheels”- a dance programme performed by differently able wheel chair artists.
It may be mentioned that the group is a Guinness Book of Record holder for their mesmerising performance and Rashtrapati Award winner for special performances.
