Shillong: The Commissioner of Taxes, Meghalaya has informed that the enrollment process under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime is open for all Value Added Tax (VAT) payers and stakeholders.
Enrollment of existing tax payers will continue till June 15 following which enrollment for Tax Deduction at Source for all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDO’s) and Enrollment for Goods and Service Tax (GST) Practitioners will be done from June 17.
From June 21 onwards registration for new tax payers under the GST regime will be carried out while from June 25 registration for dealers opting for composition scheme under the GST will start.
