Governor of Meghalya Banwarilal Purohit welcomes Prakash D, IPS, who took charge as IGP, North Eastern sector of CRPF. Prakash is an IPS officer of the 1994 batch. A statement from the CRPF said he has vast experience of working in different situations including United Nation missions. The governor appreciated the good work being done by the CRPF in different parts of the country. The new IGP assured Purohit that CRPF troops under his command will continue to work with dedication and make every possible effort to ensure peace in the region.
