1 killed in accident

On June 13 around 4.30 am, one truck (WB-37C-9705) driven by Robin Yadav fell into a gorge at Ratacherra NH-44 (EJH). As a result, co-driver Ranjit Kumar Yadav died on the spot while the Robin Yadav sustained injuries and was removed to CH Shillong where he succumbed to his injuries on June 14.
A tempo vehicle (without registration number) collided with one motorcycle (ML-08A-5344) ridden by Rimseng Momin at Chapahati-III Tri-junction (SWGH) on 13 June around 12.45 pm. As a result, the motorcycle rider and some occupants of the Tempo sustained injuries while the Tempo driver fled away.
