Police detains coal laden trucks

SHILLONG: Trucks transporting coal illegally have been seized by Ri Bhoi police.
On June 26 around 8.15 am, Police detected one truck (ML-05G-6497) driven by Banpynsuklang Marwein, accompanied by his handyman Ribok Lyngdoh and Caupis Marsharing at Nongpoh.
Earlier on June 24, Police detected two coal laden trucks (ML-04A-1714) driven by Dicson Mawlong and (AS-01CC-2676) driven by Teilian Kyrsian at Byrnihat.
The trucks and the drivers are in custody.
