SHILLONG: Nongkrem MDC HS Shylla on Tuesday said that though he was offered the post of Deputy CEM in KHADC, he is not inclined to accept it.
He maintained that it is his turn to act as an advisor to the young MDCs and not to assume any top post.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of celebration of Council Day on Tuesday, Shylla said, “I have been the Cabinet minister, Deputy Speaker, KHADC CEM. It is time for the new MDCs to get experience.”
Asked when he will join the People’s Democratic Front (PDF), he said, “Since nobody has joined, we will wait for the right time.”
