MTC strike enters 2nd day

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Transport Corporation Workers’ Union (MTCWU) will continue their agitation, which has entered its second day as no action was taken against their demand to revoke the transfer order of MD A. Nikhla.
General Secretary of the Union, K Rumnong said that the school bus services will not be operating from June 29, as the Union demands to close down PRS Counter and Meghalaya Helicopter Service till their demands are met. The Union further threatened to agitate if there is no response.
