SHILLONG: Governor Banwarilal Purohit was tightlipped when reporters tried to seek his comments regarding the decision on the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) in which he decline to withdraw administrator’s rule even after the Cabinet’s recommendation.
The governor was the chief guest at the valedictory function of the ‘Media Workshop on Climate Change Reporting in the Himalayas’. When reporters tried to get his opinion, he excused himself by folding his hands.
