Health mission employees’ meet held

SHILLONG: National Health Mission Employees Association of Meghalaya (NEAM) recently held its first induction meeting at Bethany Society.
Office bearers from respective district executive committees attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by the president of the Central Executive body, Malcolm Kharshiing.
A copy of the constitution of NEAM was handed over by Vice-President Gravy Momin to all eleven DECs which was followed by pledge-taking ceremony.
NEAM headquarters at Shillong was registered under the Meghalaya Registration of Societies Act – XII of 1983. NEAM aims to promote social and healthcare activities in the State besides advocating right and welfare of contractual staff under the National Health Mission, Meghalaya.
