TURA: The Association for Democracy and Empowerment (ADE) from Dainadubi in North Garo Hills has urged authorities concerned to take stern action against the group responsible for the deteriorating law and order in the district.
The district recently witnessed the kidnapping of a minor boy by a group which allegedly had links with notorious criminal William A. Sangma who is currently in jail.
“We condemn the activities of this group which is creating trouble in the area. We urge the authorities concerned to take stern action against such groups,” the ADE said in a statement.
