SHILLONG: Mawlai MDC P T Sawkmie has threatened to agitate with the support of people if the new Block is not set up in Mawlai at the earliest. There was delay in the inauguration of the Block at Mawlai Mawtawar as demanded by the people.
Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, Sawkmie said the Government should not be under pressure from any quarter to set up the Block outside Mawlai.
He said the will of the majority of the people should be respected by the Government.
