Laskar, Sangma talk poll readiness

SHILLONG: Rejaul Karim Laskar, the AICC Minority Department observer, met Chief Minister Mukul Sangma in the city on Saturday.
Sangma and Laskar discussed the party’s preparedness for the 2018 elections and the minority department’s role in the poll campaign, the observer told media persons after the meeting.
The AICC observer will visit Shillong again to work out poll strategies.
Later in the day, Laskar paid a visit to the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians in the city.
