All Garo Hills Archery Association rubbishes allegation against it

TURA: The All Garo Hills Archery Association (AGHAA) has clarified that the recent FIR filed by one, Pesath A Sangma of M/s A’chik Brothers Enterprise, alleging that one of his salesmen had been  called to the association’s office and threatened and demanded money from, is not genuine.

The report of the FIR was published by this newspaper in the ‘Meghalaya Crime Update’ section under the heading ‘Archery Association threatens salesman in Tura’.

According to the FIR, a person identifying himself as Lambu had called the salesman, Chandan Ghosh to the office of the All Garo Hills Archery Association where he was threatened and demanded money from. The FIR had also stated that on the same day, two other salesmen, Vishwanath Das and Vishnath Saha were also threatened of dire consequences over phone by the same accused.

The report of the FIR was taken from the Meghalaya Police Website (daily crime) the contents of which the All Garo Hills Archery Association has rubbished.
