SHILLONG: The Mawlai Community and Rural Development Block will be finally inaugurated on July 18.
Informing this here on Monday, Mawlai MLA Embhah Syiemlieh said that Chief Minister Mukul Sangma will inaugurate the block.

(Contd from P-3) The inaugural function will be held at Mawtawar and the Dorbar Shnong of the locality has donated three acres of land for the block office.
An inspection for the construction of the office building of the block was carried out by Mawlai MLA along with Mawlai Town Dorbar, and some organisations besides the BDO of the Mylliem block.
Meanwhile, it has also been decided that the community hall in the area would function as the temporary BDO office for the time being.
