POPSK at Tura, Baghmara

SHILLONG: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Department of Posts (DoP) will open another 149 Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) in the country, including at Baghmara and Tura in Meghalaya.

It may be mentioned that the MEA and the DoP have decided to utilise the Head Post Offices/Post Offices in the country as Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) for delivery of passport related services to the citizens of the country. The objective of this partnership is to extend passport related services on a larger scale and to ensure wider area coverage, according to a state government communique.
