SHILLONG: The importance of interdisciplinary research has increased manifold in recent years and traditional boundaries between departments are becoming redundant.
This was the focus of a two-day international conference at NIT Meghalaya that concluded on July 22.
The conference on ‘Interdisciplinary: Contemporary Research in Humanities, Social Sciences and Management Studies (COIN-2017)’, was organised by the Humanities and Social Sciences Department.
Around 130 delegates attended the programme and speakers from Singapore and Taiwan also came.
