SHILLONG: The FKJGP Mawsynram circle demanded the removal of Hima Mawsynram Syiem.
The pressure body on Tuesday met the CEM of KHADC P.N. Syiem and executive member (EM) in charge of Elaka, Latiplang Kharkongor regarding the issue.
The delegation led by Banshai Marbaniang wanted KHADC to dismiss Hima Mawsynram, Syiem, Amossingstar Malngiang to bring in a transparent administration within the Hima and to appoint an acting Syiem.
In a statement issued here, Marbaniang said that Malniang has not convened any Dorbar from the time he assumed charge as Syiem in 2010. They claimed that the Syiem has misused some of the land documents without consultation and attempted to sell it.
Meanwhile, the CEM informed the delegation that he will look into the matter to bring in transparency whereas Kharkongor said that he will convene an emergent meeting and will take a decision.
