IIM Shillong will organise a candle light homage in memory of former president (Late) Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his second death anniversary at 5.30pm on July 27 at its Mayurbhanj Complex campus at Lawjynriew, Nongthymmai.

Chemistry workshop
A professional development programme for Science school teachers was organised by the Department of Chemistry, Sankardev College in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry and Department of Chemistry, NEHU from July 20-21. Teachers from 27 schools of Shillong attended the programme which aimed at giving teachers new tools for delivering and engaging effective Chemistry lessons.
