Tata Mobile hits 12-yr-old, breaks limbs

NONGPOH: In a case of hit and run, a twelve-year-old boy was injured when a Tata Mobile vehicle dashed him while he was walking back home from school.
 The incident occurred on Tuesday at 2.30 pm, when the boy was heading home and the vehicle coming from opposite direction hit him breaking his right limbs. The driver of the vehicle fled away, however, the eyewitness detected the number of the vehicle.
The boy has been identified as Pynshailang Makri, student of Class II at St Paul RCLP School, Nongpoh.
The boy was sent to Civil Hospital and due to critical injuries he was latter referred to NEIGRIMS.
His teacher, Probina Mukhim, who witnessed the incident, spotted the registered number of the vehicle, ML 10 – 7733.
