The Badminton World Federation Coaches Education Course concludes in the city

Shillong : The Badminton World Federation Coaches Education Course Level –I which was held in shillong from the 16.7.2017, at the North Eastern Hill University Campus Shillong was concluded last Sunday the 22.7.2017.  There were 16 coaches altogether that was trained during this week long program from all over the North East including Sikkim.
During this week long program the core faculties from BWF and the Co-ordinators from Badminton Association of India also had a chance to interact with the players and the guardians of the Shillong Badminton Coaching centre at U Tirot Singh Stadium, where they were encourage and motivate the players of the Shillong Badminton Coaches centre as well as inspired the parents tosupport their children in the future.
In the closing ceremony the President of Meghalaya State Badminton Association Dr. W C Kharshiing spoke about the important of such kind of courses to promote the game in the state and in the country as a whole He appreciate the initiative and support of the BWF and BAI throughout the week. The President of the Shillong Badminton Coaching Centre Mr Andrew Thabah also spoke and encourages the couches and players to take the knowledge and lesson learn from the program.
In the concluding ceremony the results of the course was announced by the core faculties from Badminton World Federation Mr. Muhammad Andy Ardiansyah from Indonesia and Mr. Nikhil Chandra Dhar from Bangladesh along with Mr. Apinder Sabharwal Chief Co-ordinator Badminton Association of India and Mr. Biswajit Ghosh co-ordinator Badminton Association of India, where all the participants were declared successful, the successful candidates were awarded the Level-I coaches certificate.
The week long Coaches Education Course Level I was sponsored by the Shillong Badminton Coaching Centre in collaboration with the Meghalaya State Badminton Association
