Garo Hills DC loses Rs 90k to cyber fraud

SHILLONG: In another case of cyber crime, an amount of almost Rs ninety thousand was duped from the credit card of South West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, CVD Diengdoh.
CVD Diengdoh, in an FIR lodged with the police said that on July 24, his credit card issued by HDFC Bank was misused to make fraudulent transaction for which the complainant later received information via email from the Officer Risk (Contd on P-5)
