SHILLONG: The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall in the State and other parts of the North East in the next two days.
Isolated parts of Meghalaya, including the capital city, received rainfall on Friday. More rain is predicted in isolated areas of Meghalaya, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on Saturday and Sunday.
