SHILLONG: Mawkynrew MDC Banteidor Lyngdoh and KHADC CEM PN Syiem laid the foundation stone for the Umsawlum road under Mawkynrew constituency on Saturday.
The road has been sanctioned at an estimated cost Rs 15 lakh from the Special Plan Assistance 2015-16.
During the function, Syiem slammed the government stating that only the rich are benefitting from the various policies of the State.
He called upon people to be cautious while electing their representatives.
