PHE muster roll  workers submits reminder to minister

TURA: Muster roll workers of Garo Hills belonging to the PHE Department recently met the PHE minister and other officials of the concerned department and submitted a reminder of their demands made in the past.

According to the General Secretary of the All Garo Hills Muster Roll Workers’ Association- PHE, Dalseng Sangma, the workers are demanding the regularisation of their services as per the norms contained in the Office Memorandum of the Personnel Administrative Reforms (B) Department of 1996.

Besides service regularisation, the workers are also demanding appointment in 50% vacant posts, creation of new vacant posts in each division of the department, regular release of their wages every month, payment of compensation to senior and retired muster roll workers and to maintain the 3% job reservation.
