SHLLONG: A youth died in a tragic road mishap in the city on Wednesday.
The incident occurred near DD Lapang bungalow at Bishop Cotton Road around 9.20, when one bike (MLO5 P 6171) ridden by Sikander Shah (19) proceeding from Chief Secretary junction to Fourth Furlong dashed against another bike driven by Ziarul Haque (33).
The rider lost control and skidded off the road. Both the riders were immediately taken to the Civil Hospital, however, Sikander Shah was declared brought dead.
The matter in under inquiry.
