Speaker condoles Raswai’s death

SHILLONG: Speaker AT Mondal on Wednesday condoled the death of former minister PK Raswai.
Raswai, who had also held the post of chief executive member of the KHADC, passed away on Tuesday. “I am deeply shocked to learn of the sudden demise of Raswai,” the speaker said in a media statement.
“Raswai will be remembered for his long and untiring contribution as a politician for the people of Meghalaya. He will be missed by all sections of the people. I, along with the Members of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly and also the Assembly Secretariat deeply mourn the sudden demise of one of the stalwarts of the State,” he added.
