BJP women’s wing to protest against crime

SHILLONG: The Mahila Morcha BJP, Meghalaya Pradesh will hold a sit-in demonstration at Additional Secretariat Parking Lot on Saturday to protest against the rising crimes against women and children in the State.
Pelcy Snaitang, president of Mahila Morcha, has urged the citizens to come forward and join hands with the mahila.
Stating that the rising crimes are creating a fear psychosis, Snaitang has urged the congress government to look into the issues seriously.
Condemning the perpetrators of the crime, she said, “We demand from the State Government to frame stringent laws by going for life imprisonment for such crimes.”
On the other hand, she has urged youngsters to not misuse technology.
