SHILLONG: In its continued drive against illicit liquor, the Excise staff of East Khasi Hills District, Shillong conducted raids in the restaurants/stalls in the town and its outskirts wherein during the month of July, 2017, the Excise staff detected 31 cases with a seizure of 317.150 litres of illicit liquor and 15.660 litres IMFL seized. In this connection 20 persons were arrested under the Excise Act.
