SHILLONG: At least three persons were killed and two others injured when a massive tree in Raj Bhawan compound here uprooted and fell on a few cars plying on the road at around 5 PM on Saturday.
A rescue operation was immediately launched to retrieve
persons trapped underneath the tree and inside the cars. Three persons died of their injuries while two persons
sustained injury in the mishap, police informed.
