A massive tree fell down on few cars plying on the road near Raj Bhavan in Shillong at around 4 P.M. on Saturday. Few people were reported to be trapped underneath. Rescue operation on, details awaited. ST photo.

SHILLONG: At least three persons were killed and two others injured when a massive tree in Raj Bhawan compound here uprooted and fell on a few cars plying on the road at around 5 PM on Saturday.
