NONGSTOIN: Nongstoin legislator D. Jyndiang had donated a car to the orphanage at Pyndengrei which is administered by the Life Light Focus Concern (LLFC) of the Presbyterian Church of New Nongstoin district.
Speaking as chief guest of a meeting held on the occasion on Saturday, Jyndiang praised the LLFC committee for caring for the orphans.
“We cannot give anything big and great in this world. But we can give anything small with love and not with selfishness. I am glad to be able to do something for the orphanage,” the MLA said.  Jyndiang urged the administrators to use the car for the orphanage and not for any other purpose. “The car will help in the smooth functioning of the orphanage. Do not to hesitate to ask if you need any help in the future,” he told the administrators of the orphanage.
Saying that the special rural work programme (SRWP) was for the people, the MLA said he would use it only for the benefit of the people.
In the meeting, S.I Lyngdoh, a church elder of the Presbyterian Church, praised the MLA, for donating the car which would be used for the welfare of the orphans. Lyngdoh said the orphanage has managed to support one orphan for her studies. There are also some orphans who are studying in some colleges in Nongstoin.
