SHILLONG: Home Minister HDR Lyngdoh on Sunday condoled the death of three persons in an accident at the All India Radio junction near Raj Bhavan on Saturday.
“I can hardly imagine the pain and sense of great loss the bereaved families are feeling at this critical juncture and nothing can be said to ease their broken hearts,” Lyngdoh said in a media statement issued on Sunday.
The three persons were crushed to death when a eucalyptus tree fell on the local taxi they were travelling in during the torrential rain on Saturday.
The minister asked the kin of the deceased persons to be strong.
