Clara’s body brought home, family not sure about cause of death

The body of Clara Bansharai  Khongsit, the flight attendant, who was found dead in Kolkata on Wednesday morning, was  brought home her on Thursday at around 7 pm.

 Early in the day,t he uncle of late Clara Bansharai  Khongsit, the flight attendant, who was found dead in Kolkata on Wednesday morning, said that details of her death were sketchy.

When asked whether the family members suspect any foul play, Leo Khongsit, her uncle said, “We cannot say, as the details were sketchy.”

He went on, “It is not very clear to us as to how the incident happened. All know is only what has come out in the news only. So whether the Kolkata Police will continue with investigation or not- that also we are not very certain. We don’t really know.”

Informing that the post mortem was completed, Khongsit said, “We have not seen the (post mortem) report. We will proceed based on the post mortem report.”

He stated that the last time she came home was for only two days earlier this month and she went back to her work.

“She does not have a fix schedule and don’t know when she is supposed to come back home,” he added.

Her uncle reminisced that she was very good, lively, bubbly girl and her death was a shock and tragedy for the family. “She is irreplaceable,” he added.

Clara’s body was found lying in a pool of blood on the road in front of a three-storey apartment at Kestopur, Dum Dum airport on Wednesday morning.
