The lights at the rotary at Khyndailad, the commerical hub of the town is not functoning since past 15-20 days. Shopkeepers says that it is a common trend as this particular light goes kaput every now and then. When contacted, authorites admitted that the Meghalaya Energry Corporation Limited (MeECL) has not been informed about the non fucntional lights but assured that the lights will be definitely repaired on Friday
